On Wednesday, the Kwara State Police Command revealed that it has arrested several suspects in connection with the murder of Awesu Mojisola, a 21-year-old final-year student from the Kwara State College of Health Technology.

News About Nigeria gathered that Mojisola’s lifeless body was discovered at a refuse dump in the Aleniboro area of Ilorin on August 11, 2024.

According to the report, her lifeless body was found by a resident of the area simply identified as, Olorunoje while he was returning from the mosque.

Giving details on this, the Kwara State Police Command in a statement issued by the state’s Police Public Relations Officer DSP Toun Ejire-Adeyemi, revealed that a missing persons report was filed by Miss Blessing O. on August 13, 2024.

According to the statement, Miss Blessing, a resident of Gbomi’s area in Offa, Kwara State, reported that her roommate, Mojisola, had been missing since August 9, 2024.

In her report, Miss Blessing noted that Mojisola was last heard from after receiving a phone call from one Timileyin, who had introduced her to one Adebayo Happiness, a student from Summit University.

Adebayo had reportedly invited Mojisola to a night party under the guise of hiring her as his girlfriend for a fee of fifteen thousand naira (#15,000.00).

Blessing’s report further stated that upon arriving in Ilorin, Mojisola expressed her unease about the situation and mentioned that the party did not appear to be taking place as promised.
