Ned Nwoko Calls For Establishment Of National Social Security Agency

Senator Ned Nwoko has refuted rumours of his demise in Switzerland, calling them completely fabricated and vicious.

In a statement released on Friday in Abuja, Nwoko, who represents the Delta North Senatorial District, denounced the false reports as entirely baseless.

News About Nigeria reports that he said he has faced unwarranted criticism and accusations regarding his gift of a car to a young content creator.

Nwoko said these allegations are unfounded and misleading, and he would not tolerate them.

He added that whether this is a misguided prank or a deliberate act of malice, it has crossed a line and will be addressed.

“I am taking immediate legal action against those spreading these falsehoods. Arrests will be made, and anyone involved should be prepared to face the consequences,” he said.

“This is not a matter of influence; it is about holding those responsible accountable for their harmful actions.

“I will not tolerate any attempts to malign my character or to downplay the seriousness of this situation.

“If you are involved in these activities, expect to face legal repercussions without delay,” Nwoko warned.

In another development, Nwoko defended his wife, Regina Daniels after she faced criticism for condemning violence during the nationwide protests.

Regina had shared a video calling for peace, but some accused her of being out of touch because of her marriage to a billionaire politician.

Nwoko, however, praised Regina’s wisdom and courage in standing with Nigerians, recognising the country’s economic and security issues stemming from decades of poor governance.
