Nigerian comedian, Oluseyi Aletile, popularly known as Seyi Law, has been appointed as Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Entertainment and Tourism to Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, News About Nigeria reports.
Seyi Law’s appointment was made public by the Chief Press Secretary to the Ondo State Governor, Ebenezer Adeniyan, in a statement on Monday.
In the statement, Adeniyan noted that the appointment was a continuation of efforts by the governor to enhance governance and service delivery to the people of Ondo.
He also revealed that the appointment is to begin with immediate effect.
On his part, Seyi Law, in an acceptance and appreciation letter that he shared on his official X account on Monday, thanked the governor for the opportunity to serve in that capacity.
He also pledged his commitment to ensuring that he works tirelessly to build the entertainment and tourism sectors in the state.
The statement partly reads, “I am deeply honored for the opportunity to serve as the Senior Special Assistant to the Ondo State Governor on Entertainment and Tourism. This appointment is not only a recognition of my contribution to the entertainment industry but also a testament to the trust and confidence that his Excellency, the Governor has placed in me. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for this esteemed position. Your vision for the advancement of entertainment and tourism in Ondo state is truly inspiring, and I am committed to working tirelessly to bring the vision to fruition.

The comedian also appreciated his family, friends, and colleagues who have supported his journey so far, adding that he looks forward to working with all stakeholders in building a vibrant and robust entertainment and tourism sector in the state.
