The estranged wife of Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie and entrepreneur, May Edochie, has penned down an encouraging note for Jennifer Awelle, the widow of Nollywood actor John Paul Odonwodo popularly known as Junior Pope.
In a post shared on her Instagram account on Friday, May noted that the couple would have clocked 10 years of marriage today and encouraged Junior Pope’s wife to be strong.
May wrote that if the tragedy had not happened, the couple’s 10th anniversary would have been celebrated in a grand style as they would have celebrated a decade today.
She also assured Junior Pope’s widow that the Lord God would take charge of her and always be there for her and their children.
Her post read, “It would have been 10yrs anniversary today! It would have been celebrations today! It would have been a splash of dope images today!
It would have been a lot of things to mark a decade! Stay strong, my dear @qutejay. The Lord God takes charge of His own, and He will always be there for you all. Hang in there.”

Following his tragic demise, the actor was laid to rest amidst tears in his hometown in Ukehe, Enugu State, in May, with celebrities like; E-Money, Destiny Etiko, E-Money, Zubby Michael, Benson Okonkwo, Chinwe Owoh, Rita Edochie, Uche Nnanna, Queen Wokoma, Ruby Ojiakor and many more in attendance.
