Ruby Ojiakor, a Nollywood actress and bestie to the late actor, Junior Pope, has taken to social media to announce the purchase of a new car, News About Nigeria reports.
In a post shared on her Instagram account, the actress shared a video of her happily flaunting her new car.
While appreciating God for the car, the actress also expressed her grief over the demise of Junior Pope.
She also recounted how she had shared her dream of buying the car with him only for him to be missing when her dream finally came to pass.
Her post reads, “Congratulations to meeeeee. Only Jesus can do this.
Thank you Jesus Christ. Jesus I Love You. Chaiiiii “Akpa Swag”, I just got that car we talked about, it’s so painful you’re not here to celebrate with me. It’s well.”
Her post has sparked various reactions on social media, as many are chiding her that it is unwise to flaunt such luxury after the demise of her best friend.

Most unwise how you almost took the place of his widow but now being overjoyed to the extent of buying yourself a car, leaving Junior Pope’s wife in the dark. This is not even up to 5 months or a year. People may think you faked all the mournings. Go sell this car to avoid suspicions or gift Junior Pope’s wife as crying gift to cheer her up. Learn how to mourn well. Invest in your acting skills not this liability. Avoid flaunting luxuries for unneeded validation. Be wise, don’t be unwise.”
