Yoruba Actress Biola Bayo Exposes Woman Who Faked Her Own Death

Popular Yoruba actress Biola Bayo has revealed that a young woman named Adenike Adewodun faked her own death following a confession on Bayo’s online programme.

Adenike, who appeared as a guest on Biola’s podcast ‘Talk to B’, had disclosed her addiction to sleeping with dogs.

Days after the interview, Biola shared a video online, visibly distraught, claiming that Adenike had ended her life.

The actress expressed feeling like a failure for the first time and shared their last chats.

However, recent developments have revealed that Adenike’s death was fake, orchestrated by Adenike herself.

Biola took to her Instagram to expose the deceit, revealing that inconsistencies in the story of Adenike’s death prompted an investigation.

The investigation, led by Biola and her team, uncovered that Adenike was, in fact, alive.

Biola Bayo stated that both Adenike and her friend, who announced the fake death, have been arrested.

In a press statement, Biola Bayo explained, “The case of Miss Adenike, while tragic, is a learning curve for us. She sent a message and was asked to come, and we offered to get her therapy and all, but she freaked out and in a very devilish and ungodly manner faked her own death.”

She detailed the investigative process: “After the fake death news, we tried to locate her house to properly express our deepest condolences. However, inconsistencies in the stories told by her ‘sister’ and friend led us to investigate further. Our Director traced the hospital where she was supposed to have been treated, and we were told that she didn’t die.”

Following this discovery, Biola’s attorney filed a petition with the police, leading to the arrest and intended prosecution of Adenike and her friend.

During interrogation, Adenike admitted to faking her death to avoid the public backlash from the interview.

Her mother confirmed the abuse story Adenike shared in the interview.

After careful consideration, she decided against prosecution but said she would help Adenike with therapy and rehabilitation.

Biola announced, “Tomorrow, we shall upload a full confession from her, her friend, and her mom. We apologise to our numerous viewers whose sensibilities might have been offended in this drama. Finally, this shall be our last public communication on this matter.”
