Following uproar from netizens, Nigerian blogger Stella Dimokokorkus has tendered a public apology to actress Sharon Ooja over her claim that she is the fourth wife of her husband, Ugo Nwoke, News About Nigeria reports.
Recall that the blogger reported that Sharon’s husband is a billionaire from Imo State and she is his fourth wife as he has been married three times.
According to her, Nwoke has been married to a white woman and two black women, and his third marriage, which ended in 2023, produced sons.
However, in a new development, the blogger has apologised to the actress.
She admitted that her headlines were wrong and that they were also published at the wrong time.
Stella also apologised for hurting Sharon, noting that she takes full responsibility of her actions.
Her apology on Instagram reads, “Dear Sharon Ooja, I deeply apologise for the story on your being the 4th wife….I should not have numbered you. I do agree that it was a bad headline and it was the wrong timing. I deeply apologise for hurting you, it was not my intention and i take responsibility for my actions…
I am doing this Apology because i am truly sorry.
“May the love you have found last a lifetime and may you find happiness and Joy in your marriage as every woman deserves. You are not a person trailed by scandals and i am sorry that i made that happen. We will celebrate you tomorrow and everyday. Truly sorry”.
Reacting to her apology, an Instagram user @robyekpo wrote, “You claim you are deeply sorry but the damage has been made and the post is still on your page. The apology isn’t genuine if you ask me.”
Another Instagram user, @mamaariele said, “Sharon minds her business, a beautiful soul. She didn’t deserve that post Stella. She really didn’t.”
Also, @call_me_dutchess said, “Take down the post if you are truly sorry. Oloribroku woman.”
