The Governor of Lagos State, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has felicitated the latest couple, David and Chioma Adeleke, on their traditional wedding ceremony, which took place on Tuesday in the state, News About Nigeria reports. 

The governor shared his heartfelt congratulations with the couple via his verified handle on X on Wednesday.

He noted that the assurance of their love story is heartening and added that he is elated to celebrate with them both on this joyous occasion.

He wrote, “Congratulations to Davido and Chioma on their beautiful union.

“The assurance of your love story is heartening, and I am happy to celebrate with you both on this joyous occasion.

“May your life together be abundant with blessings, love, and joy. I wish you a lifetime of togetherness, success, and serenity for your family. Congratulations #CHIVIDO24.”

Another influencer, Michael Charles, popularly known as OGB Recent, also took to his X handle to express his happiness in the union.

He stated that the sensational musician and latest groom, Davido, remains the most influential personality in Nigeria and Africa as a whole.

According to him, Davido is the only person who can pull off having a party with some of the most influential people in attendance, like seven governors, 26 politicians, countless musical artists, lots of celebrities, and countless millionaires and billionaires.

“Let me break it down to you guys: what the name Davido signifies? About 7 governors, and 26 politicians, countless musical artists, lots of celebrities and countless millionaires and billionaires including Davido and his dad all attended this wedding, the most influential party in the whole Africa and beyond.. only one man pull it off DAVIDO,” he stated.

Recall that the Afrobeats singer got married to his heartthrob, Chioma Rowland, on Tuesday, in grand style at the Eko Hotels Lagos State.
