Controversial Nigerian rapper and singer Speed Darlington, popularly known as Akpi, has finally found a wife.
The internet sensation made this known in a post on his official X account where he shared a photo of of himself and his newfound love with the caption, “He who finds a good woman findeth a good woman.”
News About Nigeria reports that excited netizens have been reacting to Akpi’s announcement of his newly found wife.
Reacting to this, an X user, @blastc4 congratulated him saying, “Akpi got his spec! Congratulations mazi akpi! Wishing you all the bliss of marital union.”
Also, reacting to his post, another X user, @GeorgeOha34227 said, “Be like say that your poster finally work. Umunna in the mud!”
Another X user, @FidelisCgu48624 also wrote, “I didn’t believe we could still find chubby virgins until Akpi advertised for a wife. Now we know that virgins come in different sizes, ages and shapes. Congratulations My role model and mentor.”
Recall that, early this year, Speed Darlington listed the qualities he wanted in a wife, which included being light-skinned, tall, below 25 years old, and a financially independent graduate.
He had also revealed that he wanted his wife to be a virgin before their wedding.
Taking his search for a wife to another level, he erected a signboard in his village, with his picture and his requirements for a partner.
He made it known that his hunt for a wife isn’t a joke, as many think, as he is serious about settling down.
The video of the billboard sparked so many reactions online, with some advising him to marry a relationship therapist, Blessing CEO, or influencer Saida BOJ.
The controversial singer, however, did not adhere to their advice, as he has now unveiled his ‘good woman.’
