President Bola Tinubu celebrated the 83rd birthday of the founder and general superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor William Folorunso Kumuyi, on Wednesday, News About Nigeria reports.
The President, in a statement released by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, lauded Pastor Kumuyi for his many years of impact as a spiritual leader in Nigeria and the world at large.
The president praised the clergyman for his accomplishments as a preacher, author, and teacher, both within Nigeria and internationally.
President Tinubu lauded Kumuyi for being a spiritual leader who is interested in the growth and development of the nation and is willing to give whatever it takes to achieve it.
The president also appreciated him for his service and help to humanity, especially those who are downtrodden and neglected by society.
He stated that the preacher is one who, through his lifestyle and messages, has promoted peace in the country.
He prayed that God would continue to sustain and keep him and his family in health even as he celebrates this new season.
The statement partly reads, “The President salutes Pastor Kumuyi for his dedication and service not only to God but to humanity, especially the underprivileged and the downtrodden. President Tinubu notes the spiritual leader’s zeal in exercising his divine mantle for the promotion of peace, good neighbourliness, and pristine values as demonstrated by the Lord Jesus Christ. The President prays for many more years in good health for the Lord’s servant and his family.”
