Junior Pope: Nollywood Producer Adanma Luke Voluntarily Surrenders Self To Police

The producer of the movie ‘Another Side of Life,’ for whom the popular Nollywood actor, Junior Pope, was featured before his tragic demise, has surrendered herself to the police.

This was revealed by the spokesperson of the Anambra State Police Command, SP Tochukwu Ikenga.

According to Ikenga, Adanma turned herself in to the police yesterday (Thursday).

While assuring Nigerians that a proper investigation is ongoing into the tragic boat mishap that claimed the lives of Junior Pope and four other crew members, Ikenga revealed that two boat operators have been arrested and are in police custody.

He further noted that other members of the cast and crew of the movie will be invited for questioning, adding that nothing will be swept under the rug with regard to the tragic incident.

While confirming that all the bodies of the crew members that drowned have been recovered, the police spokesperson explained that although the accident happened within the jurisdiction of the Anambra State Command, issues relating to the release of the bodies of the accident victims for a decent burial are to be handled by the Delta State Police Command.

He also stated that the state commissioner of police sympathises with the families, friends, and fans of the actors and crew members who lost their lives as a result of the boat mishap and prays that God will rest their souls.

News About Nigeria had reported that Junior Pope and four other crew members died on Wednesday in a tragic boat accident that occurred while they were returning from Adanma Luke’s ‘another side of life’ movie shoot.
