Portable Urges Bobrisky To ‘Repent’ Amid Ongoing Controversy

Nigerian singer Portable, also known as Habeeb Okikiola, has issued a stern warning to his colleague Dammy Krane to desist from using their collaborative song to insult Davido.

News About Nigeria reports that the warning comes after Dammy Krane recently made headlines for making allegations against Davido, including accusing him of involvement in the death of one of his associates, Tagbo, in 2017.

In the video where Dammy Krane made these allegations, their collaborative song “Number 1” with Portable was played in the background.

Expressing his displeasure in a video response, Portable said that their song was not intended for such purposes and questioned Dammy Krane’s decision to use it while making derogatory remarks about Davido.

He also mentioned that Davido had been supportive of him in the past and that he still considers him a helper.

“Hello ladies and gentlemen, e no go spoil for you my people. E get one video wey I see online wey Dammy Krane dey insult Davido, nothing concern me if you and Davido dey fight.

“Why be say anything you wan insult Davido you go dey play music wey me and you do under? Shey we sing the song to insult Davido?

“Davido was once my helper and he’s my helper and e go still help me. You want to cause fight? If you’re fighting with Davido that’s different.”

Portable further revealed that Dammy Krane had not compensated him for his contribution to their song.

He claimed that Dammy Krane had promised to pay him once Davido settled his debt, adding that Dammy Krane was financially struggling at the time.

In his words, Portable stated, “Don’t use me! Don’t cause problems between me and Davido. Why you go dey use song wey me and you do dey insult Davido? You were playing the song underneath, you want to gain my fans? Make my fans go dey fight Davido? If you people are fighting that’s different o, me and Davido no fight!”
