On March 25, the Nigerian X space (formerly known as Twitter) was thrown into chaos after a video showing two men engaged in sexual activity was circulated.
The leaked footage triggered reactions because one of the men in the video bore a striking resemblance to renowned Nigerian influencer Enioluwa Adeoluwa.
However, the man in the video has stepped forward to address the speculation and vindicate Enioluwa.
The man, identified as Bricks, who revealed himself as an adult film star residing in the United States, clarified that Enioluwa was not the person in the leaked clip.
“Hello guys, this is Bricks. I’m a pornstar slash content creator in the United States of America. I’m making his video for my fellow Nigerian friends. I just want you guys to know, please stop harassing and antagonising me and Enioluwa about this video.
“At the end of the day, we know, you know, we all know, he knows that wasn’t him in the video. The picture that was taken, yes that may have looked like him a little bit, just from the angle.”
In a video message directed to Nigerian internet users, Bricks implored them to refrain from tarnishing anyone’s reputation based on false assumptions.
He stressed that the resemblance between one of the men in the video and Enioluwa was merely coincidental and urged people to desist from spreading unfounded rumours.
Bricks condemned the individuals responsible for circulating the video and attempting to damage someone’s reputation.
“Whoever is behind the page, I want you to know that y’all are very childish and very low and have no respect.
“It’s not okay to try to ruin someone’s dream,” he concluded.
