Nigeria's Economy Gradually Becoming Better Under Tinubu - Information Minister

The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, has lauded the President Bola Tinubu-led government for working tirelessly towards ensuring that the nation’s economy becomes better, News About Nigeria reports.

According to Idris, who said this on Wednesday during an Iftar (breaking of fast) with media executives in Kano, the economy is gradually reviving and has seen visible improvement in the last few weeks.

The minister, therefore, called on Nigerians to have faith in the administration of President Bola Tinubu as it is making efforts to address the nation’s challenges.

He also added that very soon the current hardship will completely be a thing of the past as the economy will be fully revived and Nigerians will begin to enjoy the dividends of the ‘Renewed Hope Agenda’ of President Tinubu.

Idris also disclosed that the administration is working hard to revive the nation’s refineries, stressing that the rehabilitation of the Port Harcourt refinery would soon be completed for production to commence.

The Minister further commended the President for coming up with various policies and programmes that would uplift the well-being of Nigerians.

“The Renewed Hope Agenda of President Tinubu has started yielding positive results because the economy of the country is gradually reviving. Nigerians should have trust and confidence in the leadership of President Bola Tinubu to ensure successful implementation of the policies and programmes of his administration, ” he said.

Speaking further, the minister faulted the former leadership of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) on the grounds that it mismanaged the nation’s funds.

He, however, noted that the administration of President Tinubu has restored the lost glory of the apex bank through the adoption of apt policies.
