A friend of the deceased, Ogunseye Vincent, confirmed Benson’s death on his Facebook page, describing him as a vibrant man with high hopes and vision.
Vincent expressed sorrow at the unexpected loss and extended condolences to the family.
Akintoye Benson served as the chairman of the Tricycle Owners and Operators Association of Nigeria (TOOAN) Zone H until his untimely death.

Meanwhile, MC Oluomo recently made headlines for presenting a set of branded vehicles to the Nigeria Police Force.
In a viral video, MC Oluomo was seen ushering police chiefs to the garage where the vehicles were parked.
In a video, MC Oluomo presented the vehicles to the various police stations domiciled in the Oshodi axis of the state.
Presenting the vehicles, the NURTW official said the decision was part of his corporate society responsibility (CSR) to the state.
