Renowned Yoruba actor Tolani Quadri Oyebamiji, popularly known as Sisi Quadri, has reportedly passed away.
The news of his demise was announced by his colleagues in the Yoruba movie industry, leaving fans and fellow actors in mourning.
Nollywood actress Abiola Bayo took to her verified Instagram handle to express her condolences, stating, “You will be greatly missed, Sisi Quadri. May your soul rest in perfect peace.”
He attended his primary and secondary school education in Ore, Ondo State, and moved back to Osun, his hometown to study Arabic and Quran because his father wanted him to be a Muslim cleric.
He later attended a fashion school where he learned fashion design and finished in 1999.
Oyebamiji’s contribution to the Yoruba film industry will be remembered, and his legacy will live on through his impactful performances on screen.
