BBNaija Doyin Says Potential Partners Must Relocate To The Island

Former Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) housemate and talk show host, Doyin David, has revealed a unique condition for anyone who wants a romantic relationship with her, News About Nigeria reports.

In an interview with Channels TV, she said that if a man is interested in being in a relationship with her, he must relocate to the island in Lagos State.

Doyin clarified that she sees nothing wrong with people residing on the mainland, but considering that her work and life are centred on the island, she expects a potential partner to make the move.

She mentioned that her preference for a partner who lives on the island is not negotiable.

“I don’t live on the mainland. I don’t think there is anything with living on the mainland but if I am going to date you then you would have to move to the Island just because that is where I am used to and it is also closer to everything I do.

“Absolutely, he will move to the Island. I am not going to mainland. If he really wants to someone that will live on the mainland, he could find himself another wife but that’s not going to be me,” she said.

The talk show host also stated that she wants a kind and generous man in her life, and she has no interest in being in a relationship with someone who is financially unstable.

According to her, financial stability is crucial, and she has “no business being broke.”

In a related discussion in November 2023, Doyin recounted a conversation with her mother about losing her virginity.

She said her mother offered her some advice on how to make the act pleasurable after she told her her first experience didn’t go as expected.

According to her, parents need to create an open and communicative environment where their children feel comfortable discussing sensitive topics.

Doyin argued that sex education should start at home as it will help in preventing misinformation and fostering a healthy relationship between parents and their children on such matters.
