Babcock University Refutes Claim Of Fake Professors

Babcock University in Ilishan Remo, Ogun State, has refuted claims that there are fake professors at the university, News About Nigeria reports.

The management of the university, through its Director of Communication and Marketing, Joshua Suleiman, debunked this claim in a statement in Abeokuta, the state’s capital, on Sunday.

According to Suleiman, the report by a faceless online post that is suspected to be in affiliation with the Nigerian Universities Commission (NUC) is not only malicious but also unfounded and baseless, adding that it was with the intent of implicating the institution.

He maintained that the university takes pride in the efforts it puts in to ensure that the quality of education it offers to its students is of a high standard, adding that the school will never jeopardise the future of its students by recruiting academics with fake professional credentials or any disputable certificates for that matter.

“Babcock University takes more than a keen interest in the quality of education offered to her students, and she would do nothing to undermine their future,” he said.

Suleiman noted that the university is guided by strong values that will dissuade her from compromising on quality, integrity, responsibility, and honest service to God and humanity, assuring Nigerians that the school will continue in its pursuit of meritocracy in the institution.

He added that, guided by unwavering values of quality, integrity, responsibility, and dedicated service to God and humanity, Babcock University assures its adherence to stringent standards.

Suleiman therefore urged students and parents to disregard the report, which, according to him, was an evil-inclined publication.
