In a recent post on the social media platform X, rapper Odumodublvck shared insights into the financial aspect of working with Grammy award-winning singer Tems, News About Nigeria reports.
According to the rapper, securing a verse from Tems comes with a hefty price tag of $500,000.
This revelation came amid speculation about a potential collaboration between the two artistes on the deluxe version of Odumodublvck’s album, Eziokwu.
The anticipation heightened after a video circulated on social media featuring Tems, Odumodublvck, and Blaqbonez in a studio session together.
The collaboration, however, raises questions about whether the joint project would be included in Tems’ highly awaited upcoming album.
The studio session video sparked widespread interest and discussions across various social media platforms.
Reacting to this, Odumodublvck wrote; 1 VERSE FROM TEMS NA 500k USD. EVEN HUSHPUPPI LEG GO FIRST SHAKE BEFORE E TREMBLE.”
However, Tems took to the quotes to also share a light-hearted comment.
“Excuse me? LET TEMS BREATHE,” she wrote.
Odumodublvck is a Nigerian rapper, singer and songwriter kknown for his stage performances, genre-blend and his often portrayal of Okpu Agu.
Odumodublvck’s breakthrough came on November 23, 2022, when he dropped his debut single under NATIVE Records titled ‘Picanto’, featuring ECko Miles and Zlatan.
The track not only showcased his musical prowess but also secured a notable position on the Nigeria Top 100 chart, entering at number 79 and later climbing to number 65.
