Omokri Lauds Commencement Of Sale Of Dangote Fuel

Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri, has called out Peter Obi and Arise TV, asserting that the duo is dishonest.

He states that their dishonesty has been exposed by the way they reacted and responded to the news of NLC President Joe Ajaero’s injuries, News About Nigeria reports.

According to him, Peter Obi and Arise TV gave the impression that it was the police who beat him up, when in actuality, Ajaero was involved in a scuffle with counter-protesters during a protest.

Reno claims that the duo intentionally omits the part of the scuffle and just says, ‘he was beaten, then arrested’ to give the impression that it was the Nigeria Police who beat him.

He further challenged the NLC President to come out and make a statement that it was the police that attacked him. He notes that in the video released by the NLC, the President did not mention the Nigeria Police as those behind his attack.

Reno also claims that the president was in support of the Labour Party candidate, stating that it was the only reason a protest was scheduled in the State amid preparations for the gubernatorial elections.

The self-proclaimed “Table Shaker” also questions why Peter Obi and Arise TV have been silent about the individuals who were burnt to death in Onitsha, Anambra State, the home of Peter Obi.

Recall that the President was attacked and beaten by alleged agents of the state on Wednesday in Owerri, the Imo State capital.

The suspected agents of the state and security operatives had attacked Ajaero alongside other Labour leaders, inflicting various degrees of injuries on the leaders, including those who had gathered at the NLC State secretariat to begin a scheduled protest over pending labour issues.
