Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has expanded his Zeh Nation record label by signing a new artiste named Monke, News About Nigeria gathered.

In an Instagram post made on a Saturday, Portable shared a video introducing Monke to his fans and supporters,

In a video that has garnered attention online, Portable introduced himself and proudly referred to Monke as his child.

Following the brief introduction, he stepped aside to allow his newly signed artiste, Monke, to showcase his talent to the world with a freestyle performance.

He captioned the post; “MONKE Lanje Malogbe Igesi ZEHNATION many, many inspiration @tmizzybabamonkeh.”

This development comes shortly after a public feud with his former signee, Young Duu.

Young Duu, who had left the Zeh Nation record label, accused Portable of subjecting him to car cleaning duties and physical assault during his time with the label.

In response to Portable’s claims that Young Duu had betrayed him after helping him achieve stardom, Young Duu maintained that he didn’t ‘cut any ladder’ and had left Zeh Nation in pursuit of success.

During an Instagram Live session with fans, he stated, “I did not break any ladder. I’m not backstabbing Portable. I’m out for success. I don’t think I did anybody bad. I left Zeh Nation for success. It’s just a help that Portable gave me.”

Young Duu expressed his experiences during his time with Portable, including washing cars, suffering, and enduring physical mistreatment, challenging online commentators to acknowledge what he had been through during that period.

“For how long? Na now una know say… Bro, no whine me o! Make we just forget about all these things. I don’t have much things to say online…Make una [netizeens] know wettin una dey tok. When I dey wash cars, when I dey suffer, when dem dey beat me, when dem dey slap me, when dem dey hit me, where una dey that time?”
