The love story that bloomed between Big Brother Naija All Stars housemates, Angel Smith and Somadina Anyama, affectionately known as Soma, has taken a concerning turn.
The duo, fondly referred to as ‘Somgel’ by their fans, had captured hearts with their onscreen chemistry during the reality show, leading many to believe that their relationship would thrive outside the House.
Angel and Soma were both open about ending their previous relationships to be together, which only fueled fans’ excitement about their budding romance.
However, a recent check on their Instagram profiles revealed that the two are no longer following each other on the photo-sharing platform.
As of now, neither Angel nor Soma has explained this decision, leaving fans in a state of confusion and concern.
Shortly after the show ended, News About Nigeria reported that Soma opened up about the advice he’s been receiving from some of his fellow housemates to break up with Angel.
Soma shared that housemates such as Cross and several others have been suggesting that he should reconsider his relationship with Angel.
“Some housemates always come to me and say, ‘Soma, you need to leave this babe.’ You know, several housemates have come to tell me to take it easy with Angel, and I’m like, ‘Guys, I don’t care’,” Soma revealed during the interview.
In response to Soma’s comments, Angel was confused about why their fellow housemates would make such presumptions about her and her relationship with Soma, especially given that they may not have had the opportunity to get to know her fully.
