Popular on-air personality and event host, Oladotun Ojuolape Kayode, widely recognised as Do2dtun, has publicly accused his ex-wife, Taiwo, of relocating their two children abroad.
The controversy ignited on October 11, 2023, as Do2dtun alleged that Taiwo had denied him access to their daughters and expressed his intent to counteract her actions.
He took to Instagram to vent his frustrations and once again targeted Taiwo’s brother, the singer D’banj, claiming that he played a role in obstructing his access to their children.
In response to these claims, Taiwo posted on her Instagram account, refuting Do2dtun’s allegations and saying that he knew the whereabouts of their children and had access to them.
She offered apologies to their daughters and family members for the public exposure of their familial matters and extended her regrets to her brother, D’banj, for his portrayal in the dispute.
Taiwo alleged that Do2dtun was deceptive to the public, despite the emotional distress she endured during their marriage.
She implored him to refrain from involving her brother in their disputes and emphasised that D’banj had provided support throughout their marriage.
In a subsequent Instagram post on Sunday, Taiwo disclosed that Do2dtun could indeed spend time with their children but insisted that he abstain from sharing videos of their interactions on social media.
She emphasised the importance of keeping her current location confidential.
Do2dtun, however, countered this claim, alleging that Taiwo had taken their children out of Nigeria.
He revealed that she had blocked him on all social media platforms, rendering it impossible for him to send her messages.
In an Instagram post, Do2dtun challenged Taiwo to reveal the children’s whereabouts within Nigeria, pledging to arrive within five hours to see them.
