The Police Service Commission (PSC), in conjunction with the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), has invited applications from interested and qualified Nigerians for enlistment into the force as Constable (Recruits), News About Nigeria reports.
The announcement was made in a statement posted on the NPF X handle on Friday.
According to the statement, the online application portal will be opened for the period of six weeks from 15th October to 26th November 2023.
The NPF also stated that the opportunity is opened to both male and female.
It added that prospective applicants are required to complete the online application forms and submit them within the specified period via www.apply.policerecruitment.gov.ng.
According to the statement, female applicants must not be pregnant at the time of entry.
It also listed other requirements for the application, saying that the applicant must be Nigerian by birth, with a minimum of five credits in not more than two sittings in WAEC/NECO or its equivalent with credit in English and Mathematics.
The NPF also stated that applicants must be between 18-25 years who are medically, physically and psychologically fit and must not be less than 1.67m tall for male and 1.64m tall for female.
According to the statement, only successful applicants would be contacted for an aptitude test.
