Ignore Obi, He Obeys IPOB Sit-At-Home Order – Omokri Tells Tinubu

Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri has urged President Bola Tinubu to ignore the comments made by Peter Obi during his press briefing on Wednesday.

Issuing this advice to President Tinubu in a tweet via his official X account on Wednesday, Mr Omokri urged Tinubu not to take Peter Obi seriously, saying that the former Anambra governor was an IPOB apologist.

“My counsel to President Bola Tinubu is to ignore today’s rant from Peter Obi. Someone who meticulously obeys IPOB’s sit-at-home order has the audacity to pontificate about what embarrasses Nigeria? It is only in Nigeria that a man who was so ashamed of his university degree that he refused to tender it to the Independent National Electoral Commission will be foolhardy enough to cast aspersions on another man who was bold enough to declare his,” Omokri wrote.

News About Nigeria recalls that Peter Obi, in his press conference, challenged President Tinubu to come clean with his academic background and records.

Recall that the registrar of Chicago State University had earlier cleared that it did not issue the certificate that President Tinubu presented to the Independent National Electoral Commission.

The revelation came as Reno Omokri continued to insist that President Tinubu graduated from CSU.

However, a lot of Nigerians have persisted in criticising Reno Omokri for continually defending President Tinubu’s academic credentials against Atiku Abubakar, his preferred presidential candidate.
