Popular social media influencers Samklef and VeryDarkman have faulted the interview held by former presidential aide Reno Omokri with embattled Nigerian singer, Naira Marley.
Faulting Omokri’s interview session that was held with the Marlians record boss, Samklef, who alleged that the interview seemed premeditated, argued that Reno Omokri did not play his script well as he was asking funny questions.
The former music producer alleged that Naira Marley recorded himself conversing in advance with the deceased singer as though anticipated that something would occur.
“Let’s get to the truth! The video interview with Reno seems premeditated. Reno could not play his script well with the funny question…Naira Marley, it appears you recorded yourself in advance, conversing with Mohbad as though you anticipated something would occur, allowing you to bully him, much like when you went live claiming he was on drugs. This seems like manipulation at its highest, and now it’s apparent that some blogs and individuals have been influenced to alter the narrative,” SamKlef said in a tweet.
On his part, VeryDarkMan described the interview as something that had earlier been practised. The social media influencer called for the arrest of Naira Marley, Mohbad’s father, Sam Larry, and others who were accused of involvement in the singer’s death.
Their comments come as Omokri debunked claims that he was paid by Naira Marley to help him coordinate his public relations.
News About Nigeria reports that the former presidential aide, however, said that he was the one who invited Naira Marley to give another angle to the one-sided narrative being pushed on social media.
