I’m Not Making Money Off Mohbad’s Songs – Naira Marley Reveals

Marlians music boss, Naira Marley has revealed that he is not making money off songs that Mohbad sang after exiting the Marlian music record label.

Making this disclosure during an interview with former presidential aide Reno Omokri, Naira Marley who is being wanted by the Nigerian masses disclosed that he never stopped the singer from recording or making money after he left Marlian music.

“I’m not making money from his new music that he is dropping outside Marlian music, No we are not stopping his growth we are not stopping him from dropping music when he left,” Naira Marley said.

The singer further reiterated that he was ready to return to Nigeria for questioning so far the Nigerian police could guarantee his safety.

Emphasizing that he knew nothing about the singer’s death Naira Marley claimed that some individuals were trying to cover up the actual cause of Mohbad’s death.

His comment comes amid increased calls for his arrest following the singer’s death.

News About Nigeria recalls that  Nigerians have continued to call for the arrest of Naira Marley and his associate Sam Larry over the death of the singer who died some weeks back.

The agitation followed the re-surfacing of a viral video where Sam Larry was seen bullying the singer during a video shoot. However Mohbad in June filed a petition with the police against his former label boss and Sam Larry.

The singer asked the Nigerian police to protect him from his former label boss, who according to him, was after his life.

The police have however conducted an autopsy to ascertain the cause of the singer’s death with many Nigerians patiently waiting for the outcome of the autopsy.
