Speed Darlington in Police Custody After Burna Boy’s Complaint

Rapper, Speed Darlington, has stirred up controversy once again, this time by making fun of the late singer Mohbad, who passed away last week at the age of 27.

The young singer had faced bullying and assaults from his former label boss, Naira Marley, and his associate, Sam Larry, as videos of these incidents circulated on the internet.

News About Nigeria reports that in response to these events, Speed Darlington criticised Mohbad, labelling him a ‘weakling’ and suggesting that he could have fought back against his aggressors.

He shared his perspective that bullies tend to target individuals they can easily oppress and are afraid of those who fight back or are stronger than them.

Using Mohbad’s experience as a case study, Speed Darlington delivered a message to parents, urging them to raise resilient and strong individuals rather than ‘weaklings’ in society.

“Make sure your son is a beast, make sure you produce a beast and not a weakling. I saw too many videos of a dead man. ‘If anything happens to me, Naira Marley and his boys, oo,’ I was looking at him, like see this weakling.

“Bully doesn’t attack a person who can beat them; a bully first sizes you up, and convinces himself that he can overpower you like ice cream.

“Bullies do not attack people who are stronger than them. If every time they attack this boy, whether they are two or three, one of them pleads profusely, they wouldn’t do it again.

“But all he does is carry a phone and run up and down. Rest in peace to a dead man. Stop raising a weakling; it can’t happen to me,” he said.
