Police Kill One, Arrest Three Other Robbers In Anambra

The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has officially stated that the autopsy of the late Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, widely known as Mohbad, has been successfully completed, News About Nigeria gathered.

This update was posted on the NPF’s official social media platform on Thursday night.

The announcement comes after the Lagos State Police Command spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the exhumation of Mohbad’s body for the purpose of conducting the autopsy.

In the statement released by the NPF on their social media page, it was mentioned that the autopsy procedure for Mohbad has been successfully carried out.

The police force also assured the public that they would provide further information as soon as the results of the autopsy became available.

“Mohbad: Autopsy Update. The Nigeria Police Force wishes to inform the public that the autopsy procedure for Mr. Mohbad has been successfully completed. Further information will be provided as soon as the results are available.”

Mohbad’s untimely death last week Tuesday raised suspicions and triggered public outcry.

Accusations were directed at Afeez Fashola, professionally known as Naira Marley, who is the owner of Marlian Record Label, for his alleged involvement in the singer’s demise.

In addition to the controversy surrounding his death, there have been disputes among Mohbad’s distant relatives regarding his estate, which arose shortly after his passing.

The swift burial of the late singer in Ikorodu, Lagos, immediately following his death, also led to questions, although his father explained that it was in line with Yoruba customs.
