Nigerian musician, Korede Bello, has offered valuable insights on how fans and supporters can contribute to artistes’ well-being, particularly their mental health,
In a tweet shared on X, Korede Bello highlighted the challenges artists face in the entertainment industry and encouraged fans to be proactive in supporting them.
News About Nigeria reports that the ‘Godwin’ singer emphasised that the music industry can be challenging and sometimes overwhelming, especially for artistes who strive to maintain their mental and emotional well-being.
He also acknowledged the difficulties artistes face in staying clean and making responsible choices.
Korede Bello then called on fans and supporters to play a role in helping artistes stay alive, not only through their music careers but also by prioritising their mental health.
He encouraged fans to offer support while artistes are still alive, whether through kind words, encouragement, or any means available to them.
“People don’t understand how hard it is to stay sane in a seemingly crazy industry. It’s even harder when you choose to stay clean.
“So if you want to help an artiste stay alive, contribute to their mental health, support them while they’re still here with whatever you have, even if all you have are your kind words.
“You may not love their art, but you can choose to love the soul of the artist in the human being,” he tweeted.
