The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Idowu Owohunwa, has assured that everyone involved with Mohbad’s case will be questioned.

Giving this assurance as the call for justice against the death of the deceased Nigerian singer continues to mount, the Police Commissioner said that the investigation will not be isolated to one specific character.

According to the Police Commissioner, all facts including video persona, and experiences will be investigated.

“We do not want to isolate specific characters, all facts; including videos, including personalities that have been mentioned, those not even mentioned but that we do know from our homicide investigation experience would be vital to getting to the root so i do not want to reduce it to specific names at this moment, let’s proceed with the investigation… We will pick up whoever we believe from the investigation is linked…,” the commissioner said.

News About Nigeria recalls that netizens have continued to call for the arrest of Mohbad’s former label boss, Naira Marley and popular music promoter, Sam Larry over the tragic death of the singer.

The circumstances surrounding the singer’s death remained murky, with many questioning the incident that led to the singer’s death.

Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command, said that if necessary, the police would exhume the singer’s hastily buried body in order to determine the exact cause of death.

Sam Larry, however, has denied any participation in the artist’s death in the midst of ongoing calls for his arrest, implying that he loved the musician dearly and would never consider killing him.
