Rita Dominic Celebrates Mother’s Posthumous Birthday

Nollywood actress Rita Dominic has taken to her Instagram page to share a posthumous birthday message in honour of her late mother, who passed away 23 years ago. 

News About Nigeria reports that in a touching tribute, the actress expressed her hope that she and her siblings have made their parents proud.

To accompany her message, Rita Dominic shared wedding photos of her mother and father, remembering her mother on this special day.

The actress wished her late mother eternal peace until they reunite someday.

Her Instagram post read, “Posthumous birthday wish to my late mum. We lost you 23 years ago, and we hope we have made you and continue to make you and Daddy proud. Keep resting in peace Mum, till we meet to part no more.”

Rita Dominic was born on July 12, 1975, into the royal Nwaturuocha family of Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area in Imo State, Nigeria.

She received her primary and secondary education in Ikot Ekpene, Akwa Ibom State. After completing her secondary education, she pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Theatre Arts at the University of Port Harcourt in 1999.

From a young age, Rita had a passion for acting, which led her to participate in school plays and children’s television shows in Imo State.

Her debut movie appearance was in the film ‘Time to Kill’, a role that brought her to the forefront of Nollywood. Throughout her career, she has worked alongside prominent Nollywood stars such as Joke Silva, Desmond Elliot, Ini Edo, Ramsey Nouah, Olu Jacobs, and Genevieve Nnaji.

Rita Dominic has become a respected figure in the Nigerian film industry and continues to make her mark in the world of entertainment.
