Mr Aloba, the father of the late Nigerian singer Ilerioluwa Olademeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has spoken out about his son’s tragic passing.

He revealed that he had a disturbing dream about the singer just two days before his demise, News About Nigeria gathered.

In an interview shortly after his son’s burial on Wednesday, Mr Aloba recounted his recent visit to the singer’s home and the dream he had before the tragic incident occurred.

In the dream, he said he saw someone holding a gun to shoot, and he thought he had escaped the bullet. Little did he know that something tragic would happen to his son.

The interview clip has since gone viral on social media.

“Mohbad is my friend. I named him Olademeji, which means ‘my second’, because I’m the only son of my parents. We are very close. Whenever he sees me, he rejoices with me. I could even remember the last time we met before his death, which was on Saturday.”

He continued, “I went to his house, we played together. He gave me food, and he was even the one who served me. He joined me, and we ate together. When I was leaving, he gave me money as usual.”

However, Mr Aloba revealed that he had a troubling dream a couple of days before the incident.

Despite the allegations circulating on social media, Mr Aloba stated that he isn’t suspecting anyone in particular.

However, he expressed some concerns about the auxiliary nurse who administered an injection to Mohbad before his death, noting that he was unsure of her qualifications.

Mr Aloba suspects that the injection may have complicated his son’s health.
