Nigerian singer Adekunle Almoruf Kosoko, popularly known as Adekunle Gold, has opened up about his strong motivation to work hard.
According to him, he is determined to provide a better life for his daughter, Adejare, and ensure she doesn’t experience the same challenges he faced while growing up.
News About Nigeria reports that AG Baby, as he is affectionately called by fans, expressed his commitment to releasing multiple singles and projects to secure the financial means to support his daughter’s education and other essential needs.
He shared these sentiments during a recent conversation with renowned YouTuber, Tayo Aina.
In the interview, Adekunle Gold spoke on the central role his family plays in his life, describing them as his ‘centre’.
He expressed his love for fatherhood and acknowledged the significant responsibility of raising a daughter, pointing out his determination to provide her with a brighter future.
“Being a father is a huge responsibility that I love by the way. Knowing that I have a huge responsibility to raise a queen. You know, my family is my centre.
“Anywhere they are is my happy place. That is one of the reasons I’m hustling hard. Because this girl, the life that I lived growing up, she can’t do the same. That’s why I’m dropping school fees’ music for you people,” he said.
Adekunle Gold also highlighted the advantages of being married to another artiste, Simi, stating that it has made managing their busy schedules more manageable.
The couple tied the knot in January 2019 after five years of dating and welcomed their daughter, Adejare, also known as Dej, in May 2020.
