Cindy Amadi, a Nigerian actress known for her role in the lesbian-themed movie ‘Ife’, has passed away. 

This unfortunate news was confirmed by the producers of the movie, ‘Ife’, in a statement posted on their Instagram page on Thursday, News About Nigeria reports.

The statement expressed deep sorrow and disbelief over Cindy Amadi’s passing, acknowledging the pain and loss that her family is currently experiencing.

The movie’s cast and crew extended their heartfelt condolences to her family and wished them the comfort they needed during this difficult time.

The statement read, “We are greatly, deeply, and unbelievably saddened to learn about the passing of Cindy Amadi, who played Adaora in #ìféthemovie.

“We cannot begin to imagine the pain and loss her family feel right now. On behalf of our entire cast and crew, we send our deepest condolences to her family and wish them all the comfort they need at this time.

Pamela Adie, a filmmaker and producer of ‘Ife’, also confirmed the actress’ untimely death on her Facebook story.

She expressed regret that they couldn’t complete the sequel as planned but vowed to do so in Cindy’s memory.

As of now, the cause of Cindy Amadi’s death remains unknown, and further details have not been provided.
