Nigerian rapper, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, professionally known as Mohbad, has been laid to rest in his hometown of Ikorodu, Lagos State, following his untimely death, News About Nigeria gathered.
The 27-year-old artiste passed away on Tuesday, September 12, under circumstances that have sparked controversy and conflicting reports regarding the cause of his death.
Some sources claimed that he had sought medical attention for an ear infection, but after receiving an injection, he lost consciousness and did not regain consciousness.
On the other hand, there were reports suggesting that his death might have been due to heart complications linked to substance abuse.
Despite the ongoing debate surrounding the cause of his demise, Mohbad was buried today, September 13, in accordance with Islamic burial rites. His burial took place less than 24 hours after his tragic passing.
Several video clips shared on social media platforms depicted the burial procession, with mourners in attendance. The emotional scenes showed many individuals grieving as his coffin was solemnly lowered into the ground.

Shortly after his death, his wife, Omowunmi, in a series of Instagram posts, expressed her deep sorrow and concern about caring for their baby boy, who just turned five months old.
She revealed that she and Mohbad had welcomed their son, named Liam, five months ago. She said she was confused about how to move forward now that her beloved partner had passed away.
She also shared throwback and current images of herself with Mohbad, showcasing their journey as parents together.
