The renowned General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, and his beloved wife, Foluke Adeboye, have marked a remarkable milestone in their life journey as they celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary on Friday, September 8, 2023.
The couple, whose enduring love story has been an inspiration to many, has been together for 56 years and their union is blessed with four children, News About Nigeria gathered.
Taking to his Instagram page to share the joyful news and reflect on their remarkable journey together, Pastor Adeboye posted a heartwarming throwback portrait of the couple, presumably from their wedding day, alongside a recent photo taken on their 56th-anniversary celebration.
“56 years of beautiful companionship, 56 years of shared moments, 56 years of God’s goodness, 56 years of Kingdom partnership, 56 years of shared victories. Thank You, Jesus, Thank You, Lord!” he captioned.

Pastor Adeboye was born on March 2, 1942, in Ifeware, near Ife, in Osun State. He was born into a very humble background and he sometimes jokes that even poor people refer to his family as poor.
He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics in 1967. Redeemed Christian Church of God is one of the largest churches in Nigeria. In 2010, the church said they wanted RCCG to be within five minutes of walking distance.
