Nigerian singer Tems has revealed that she does not know where she left her Grammy Award plaque, News About Nigeria gathered.

Tems was honoured with the prestigious award for Best Melodic Rap Performance at the 65th Grammys on February 6, 2023.

Tems secured the award for her exceptional contribution to Future’s track titled ‘Wait For U’, which also featured renowned artist Drake.

When asked where she keeps it in a chat with Elle, the ‘Damages’ singer claimed it is likely on a shelf somewhere.

According to her, she has moved forward since she won the award.

“I think it’s inside a shelf somewhere. I don’t know where it is. I don’t really have it out.

“Since I got here, I just keep moving forward. I’m moving on to the next thing.”

When asked if she has a moment she is most proud of, Tems said she is grateful for all of them.

However, she mentioned that she was honoured to have been at the Oscars.

“I don’t have a moment that I’m most proud of. I am just grateful for all of them. But I remember; the moment I really enjoyed was definitely the Oscars. Just being there was such an honour,” she said.

Tems outfit at the 2023 Oscars back in March caused a bit of a stir on social media.

She arrived at the event wearing a lush white gown from Lever Couture, which was accentuated by an enormous headpiece that wrapped around her head and extended outwards.

While her outfit was certainly eye-catching, it, unfortunately, caused some issues for audience members seated behind her.

Many were left frustrated and unable to see the stage due to the obstructive nature of her headpiece.

Netizens bashed her for choosing to wear an outfit that would inconvenience others.
