Gospel singer Rejoice Iwueze, a former member of Destined Kids, has welcomed her first child with husband, Samuel Temitayo, Oladapo.
Rejoice, who got married in November 2022, shared the news on Sunday, September 3, via her Instagram page.
In her post, she shared adorable pictures of herself and her husband, expressing gratitude to God for their new blessing.
Rejoice expressed her joy at the transition from being a couple to becoming parents, emphasising her trust in God’s faithfulness.
“Leveled up from being just couples to being parents. God can be trusted,” she captioned her post.
Her announcement received an outpouring of congratulations from celebrities, fans, and followers.
However, some netizens couldn’t help but speculate that she might have been pregnant before her marriage.
Rejoice’s wedding ceremony was held at her home in Owerri on November 16, 2022.
At the time, she shared pictures of herself and her spouse wearing traditional attires via her Instagram page.
In the post, she stated that her traditional wedding ceremony marked a new phase, dawn, level, and chapter for her.
She added that she is thrilled to be doing everything alongside her partner.
“It’s a new phase, It’s a new dawn, It’s a new level, It’s a new chapter. This next level is just bubbling in my heart and I’m super excited I’m doing this with you baby. Let’s do it traditionally today baby.”
