Success Justifies The Means - Reno Omokri

Former Presidential spokesman, Reno Omokri has challenged Arise TV and its reporter Oseni Rufai to release evidence showing that President Bola Tinubu did not graduate from Chicago State Univeristy.

Challenging this varsity in a tweet on Friday, Mr. Omokri suggested that Mr. Oseni would be regarded as a criminal if he had made the unbacked claim in the Western world.

Mr Omokri claimed that the Arise TV reporter instigated supporters of Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party to attack him.

“This is not the first, second, third, fourth, or fifth-time AriseTV has done nothing while Mr. Rufai Oseni lies on air and passes off propaganda as news. In America and Europe, what he did would be regarded as criminal. Mr. Oseni lied on air that Chicago State University denied Bola Tinubu’s academic credentials based on a subpoena they were hit with,” Omokri wrote.

“He flat out called me a liar when I said I went to Chicago State University and confirmed from the horse’s mouth that Bola Tinubu did attend Chicago State University. And he triggered Obidients to go after me. Now, all I am asking is for AriseTV and Mr. Rufai Oseni to publish the alleged subpoena,” he said.

His request comes as the Chicago State University agreed to make the academic record of President Bola Tinubu available to Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party.

News About Nigeria had earlier reported that Femi-Fani Kayode, former aviation minister had earlier demanded that Arise TV and Oseni Rufai apologise for making unbacked claims about the academic records of President Bola Tinubu.
