“Lonely At the Top,” crooner, Asake has achieved a remarkable feat by selling out his upcoming concert at London’s prestigious O2 Arena, joining the ranks of renowned artists like Wizkid, David, and Burna Boy on the global stage, News About Nigeria reports.

Asake’s show is scheduled for August 20, 2023. The anticipation is immense as he prepares to take the stage for the first time at the globally acclaimed O2 Arena, one of the most renowned indoor arenas globally and among the largest.

The tickets for the concert, which became available on May 12, 2023, have rapidly sold out, a testament to Asake’s soaring popularity not only in the UK but also on a global scale.

With a unique blend of Afrobeats and hip-hop, Asake has gained millions of streams across Spotify and Apple Music. His tracks such as “Sungba,” “No Competition,” “Bandana,” “Terminator,” “Joha,” “Organise,” “Amapiano,” and more have contributed to his widespread recognition.

With his unique talent, Asake stands as one of Africa’s most exciting new artists with a promising future ahead. He won the 2022 Next Rated award and received a BET 2023 nomination for Best New International Act among others.

The announcement follows tragic events that occurred during his December O2 Academy Brixton show where two fans lost their lives while another sustained critical injuries from a crowd crush.

This next performance marks Asake’s first concert in London since then; hence expectations are high towards making it one of his most significant performances yet at this venue with its capacity of 20,000.

The singer and songwriter is signed to YBNL Nation and Empire Distribution
