ShibaArmy Scam Alerts, Twitter handle @susbarium has been vigilant in issuing warnings to the Shiba Inu community over the last 24 hours, News About Nigeria reports.

As Shiba Inu continues to gain popularity and make strides in its development, scammers and malicious individuals are attempting to exploit this momentum to defraud unsuspecting investors.

One of the recent warnings from Susbarium is about a fake ShibaSwap website that has surfaced. The community is urged to exercise caution and be wary of this fraudulent platform.

Susbarium has even shared a screenshot of the fake Shibaswap website, exposing its deceptive nature and fake website address. The sole intent of such a scam is to steal users’ funds, and users are strongly advised not to click on any suspicious links.

ShibaSwap, launched in July 2021, is a decentralized finance (DeFi) platform associated with Shiba Inu, offering various features such as a decentralized exchange (DEX) and passive income-generating services like staking, liquidity pools, and yield farming.

The fake Shibaswap website is designed to mimic the original Shibaswap DEX, making it challenging to identify for the inexperienced eye. However, discerning individuals can spot the differences, primarily starting with the fake domain address.

The scammers seem to be targeting newbies who are just stepping into the world of cryptocurrencies. New investors have found Shiba Inu attractive, as indicated by the New Adoption Rate data from IntoTheBlock.

Aside from the fake Shibaswap website, Susbarium has also warned the SHIB community about a fake Shibarium Tech Telegram account.

It’s important to note that the Shibarium Tech platform (SHIBT) has no affiliation with Shiba Inu, and any communication from such accounts should be regarded with suspicion.

Another scam tactic involves fake emails pretending to be from Coinbase. These fraudulent emails trick users into clicking on links under the guise of securing their accounts, and they falsely claim that the phone number associated with the users’ accounts has been changed.

Community members are advised to be cautious about such emails and to verify the authenticity of any communication received from exchanges before taking any action.

The Shiba Inu community must remain vigilant and exercise caution when dealing with online platforms, links, and communications.
