English Premier League side Arsenal has secured the services of Dutch defender Jurrien Timber from Ajax, News About Nigeria confirms.

The 22-year-old player, who has been a key figure at Ajax, joins the Gunners after making 121 senior appearances for the Amsterdam-based club.

Jurrien, who arrived at Ajax’s academy in 2014 alongside his twin brother Quinten, has had an impressive career trajectory.

Signing his first professional contract in 2018, he made his senior debut for Ajax in a 3-1 victory against SC Heerenveen in March 2020.

During his time at Ajax, Jurrien won two league titles and a Dutch Cup, showcasing his talent and contributing to the club’s success.
