During a sermon in the Jesus Christ Temple Ministry in Warri, Delta state, Prophet Amos made controversial statements, claiming that clergymen who own private jets or universities will not be admitted to heaven.
News About Nigeria also confirms that the religious leader also stated that pastors with significant amounts of money in their bank accounts, ranging from N500 million to N1 billion, would be left behind during the rapture.
Furthermore, he mentioned that clergymen who own universities, estates, or ordain their wives would also be denied entry into paradise.
He said; “Any pastor wey buy jet, if he see heaven, I pull my shoes. Any pastor wey get estate and university, if he see heaven, if the door of heaven open [for him], that means it will also open for Sodom and Gomorrah.
“Any prophet wey get N1 billion, N500 million for his account, na e be say na only him na e the gospel first reach. Any pastor wey ordain his wife, if he see heaven, na e be say na only you be first pastor wey marry. The apostles no marry? Show me their wives names for bible. All of them were married.”

In a video circulating on social media, Onyema expressed his disinterest in the Kingdom of God and displayed his tithe card, emphasizing that he had been brainwashed when he paid his tithes to the church.
He claimed to have joined the Dunamis church in 2008 and mentioned his disappointment with the current state of affairs in the country, including his bank’s failure to assist him.
