Hakim Ziyech‘s move to Al Nassr now appears collapsed, following a failed medical, News About Nigeria understands.

This was contained in a series of reports emanating from Saudi Arabia, after the player and the club had agreed on personal terms, with a buy clause of around £ 17 million.

This won’t be the first time Ziyech is faced with such a problem as the Dutch-born faced a similar problem previously with Paris Saint-Germain during their move for the player in a loaned capacity during the January transfer window.

Although, the deal partly failed ultimately due to an administrative issue moments before the deadline on Chelsea’s side, which undoubtedly heightened Ziyech’s frustrations as the season continued.

The 30-year-old would later struggle for minutes throughout the campaign but was reportedly close to concluding a move that would finally facilitate a fresh start for him in the Arabic nation while joining the likes of N’Golo Kante, Kalidou Koulibaly and Edouard Mendy.

But all that seem stalled at the moment according to news of his reoccurring knee problem which has thrown up concerns from the Cristiano Ronaldo’s team.

Should Ziyech eventually make the move to the Middle East, he would call time on a three-year stint, after sealing a £ 37 million transfer from Ajax to Stamford Bridge some two years ago.

Even though he couldn’t replicate the white-hot form that first attracted him to the Premier League, he showed some flashes for the West London club during his 107 appearances.

Ziyech scored 14 goals across all competitions and registered a couple of assists totaling 13.
