News About Nigeria reports that in a Sunday sermon titled “The Prison of Pornography,” Banky W candidly shared his experiences and emphasized the importance of having a trusted partner to confide in during challenging times.
During the sermon, Banky W shared the personal battle he faced with adult movie addiction and shed light on the role his wife played in his recovery process.
He spoke about the significance of having someone who could provide support and understanding throughout his struggle.
Banky W openly acknowledged that Adesua Etomi, his beloved wife, was the cornerstone of his journey to overcoming addiction and expressed deep gratitude to her.
Banky W revealed that during the difficult moments of his addiction battle, he would spend hours on the phone conversing with Adesua to resist temptation and stay committed to his path of recovery.
Her constant presence and support served as a source of strength and motivation for him to overcome the challenges he faced.
“If I don’t thank God for anything in my life, I thank God for this woman (pointing to his wife). It’s important to have somebody you can talk with, pick the right person and open up about your struggle. When I was still dealing with pornography, I would call this woman and talk with her for hours on the phone just so I wouldn’t break,” he said in part.
