Nigeria’s Super Eagles star Wilfred Ndidi has taken to Instagram to celebrate his beautiful wife as she marks her birthday, News About Nigeria reports.
The 26-year-old Leicester City player arguably, has not been a happy man since his club’s relegation from the English Premier League (EPL) last season.
However, the past 24 hours seem to be a relieving period for the Nigerian defensive midfielder with the first coming in Sunday’s Super Eagles AFCON victory against Sierra Leone.
Ndidi played all 90 minutes in the game that gave the Eagles a narrow win at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Stadium, Monrovia, Liberia, and qualified Jose Peseiro’s men for the 2024 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) holding in Côte d’Ivoire.
Following Nigeria’s victory for their 20th AFCON qualifier in history, the Super Eagles anchorman took to the social media on Monday June 19, to celebrate his wife on her birthday anniversary.
Ndidi posted a photo of himself with Dinma Fortune his wife with a thoughtful birthday message that leaves no stone unturned to confirm his love for her.
He wrote “Happy birthday to you my baby!” adding “Today, I celebrate you and all the wonderful things that make you unique and amazing.”
Ndidi has been the brain box of Leicester City but his presence for his side on the pitch was not enough to see the club escape rise above the relegation zone.
They will have to fight their way through to the EPL again throughout the 2023/24 campaign in the English Championship.
