Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Governor of Lagos State, carried out the swearing-in ceremony for key officials in his administration on Friday, News About Nigeria reports.

The individuals inaugurated included the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Bimbola Salu-Hundeyin, Chief of Staff Tayo Ayinde, and Deputy Chief of Staff Gboyega Soyannwo.

The reappointment of Tayo Ayinde and Gboyega Soyannwo to their former positions as Chief of Staff and Deputy Chief of Staff respectively was confirmed by Governor Sanwo-Olu.

Their previous experience and contributions during his first term were likely instrumental in their selection.

Bimbola Salu-Hundeyin, a distinguished legal professional and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, was appointed as the new Secretary to the State Government.

Prior to this appointment, she served as a Commissioner representing Lagos State in the National Population Commission (NPC).

Her legal expertise and experience are expected to contribute significantly to the government’s decision-making process.

The announcement of these appointments was made by the Head of Service, Hakeem Muri-Okunola. Gboyega Akosile, the governor’s media adviser, stated that the appointments would take effect immediately.

This swift action ensures that the newly sworn-in officials can promptly assume their responsibilities and begin working on key initiatives and policies.

As Secretary to the State Government, Bimbola Salu-Hundeyin will play a crucial role in coordinating the activities of various government agencies and ensuring effective communication within the administration.

Chief of Staff Tayo Ayinde and Deputy Chief of Staff Gboyega Soyannwo will be responsible for assisting the governor in executing his agenda and managing the day-to-day operations of the government.
