Super Eagles boss Jose Peseiro has admitted that the Sierra Leone side will be hard to beat when they lock horns this weekend, News About Nigeria reports.

Nigeria’s national team will pay a visit to the Leone Stars on Sunday, June 18 for the much anticipated duel between the two West African countries.

The Super Eagles have since engaged in a weeklong training at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Lagos, in preparation for the qualifiers, with many abroad-based players coming in.

Meanwhile, even with the quality of players in the Eagles camp, the national team’s head coach Peseiro has acknowledged the tough challenge of the said game, noting the form of the Sierra Leonean players.

The Portuguese admitted that his players must be at their best to conquer their opponent, recalling that the Super Eagles have drawn their last two games with the side, with their last win coming last year in Abuja.

He added that his boys must show some form of organization and commitment going into the game.

“It will be a difficult game,” the Portuguese stated.

“In the last three matches against Sierra Leone, we drew two and only won the last meeting last year in Abuja.

“Sierra Leone are a good team and they only beat us to stand a chance of qualifying for the AFCON.

“We, therefore, have to be at our best organization and commitment and play a collective game against them.”

Sierra Leone will host the three times African champions at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Stadium, Monrovia, on Sunday.
