This gathering offers me a valuable opportunity to engage with decision-makers, experts, and participants involved in peace processes, enabling me to reflect on the art of mediation.
Yesterday evening, I had the honor of participating in a dinner alongside HE Anniken Huitfeldt, the Foreign Affairs Minister of Norway. The event also hosted distinguished individuals such as Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka, the former Deputy President of South Africa; Ahmed Fiqi, the Minister responsible for Interior, Federal Affairs, and Reconciliation in Somalia; Alvaro Durán, Colombia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs; and Isidro L. Purisima, who is currently serving as the Acting Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation, and Unity in the Philippines.
I am eagerly anticipating engaging in open and productive conversations during the forum’s deliberations”.
